Eaton<\/h2>\n<p>Thomas served in the USMC from 1987-1993. He is a Life Member of VFW Post 314, an AMVETS Member,\u00a0 has been the President of the Board of Directors at the Clarendon Vets Lodge for 25+ years, and is the current President of the Board of Directors here at AVVC. Tom has been involved with the Plumbers\/ Steam Fitters Union for 30+ years. He has also served as the Mayor of the Clarendon Boro since 2015.\u00a0 Tom is also an Eagle Scout and a member of Masonic Lodge #241.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h1><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/avvc.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/IMG_1342-scaled-e1676312027868.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"2560\" \/>Lee J. Borger Jr.<\/h1>\nLee is a lifelong resident of Warren County, Graduate of Edinboro State College with a degree in Economics, , worked in banking and at United Refining Company, and Owned several small businesses.\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/avvc.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/mike-mclachlan-2-06162022-rotated-e1679325517142.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"921\" height=\"1299\" \/>Michael Mclachlan<\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Michael graduated from Sheffield High School in 1991. After he graduated from high school, he joined the US Air Force. \u00a0He\u00a0served in the US Air Force and retired with 22 years of honorable service. He was deployed four times in support of the war in Afghanistan. \u00a0After retiring from the the Air Force, he was employed with the Caterpillar Distribution Center in Spokane, WA for five years.\u00a0 He returned to Clarendon in 2021 and joined the VFW post #314 and became a board member there. \u00a0He is a current member of VFW post #314 and is currently serving as the AVVC Board of Directors Secretary\/Treasurer and\u00a0as the AVVC Administrator.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/avvc.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/IMG_1335-scaled-e1676311711647.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"2560\" \/>Tom E. Eaton<\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Tom served in the US Army for three years. He is a proud Life Member of Post 314 VFW and a 58 Year Member of post 314 VFW. He served on the Sewage Authority for ten years and was a member of Union Pipe Fitter Local 449 42 years.\u00a0 He owned Clarendon Water Co. for 25 years.\u00a0 Tom helped establish the AVVC. He has lived in Clarendon for most of his 80 year life.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"color: #ffffff; font-size: 2rem; font-weight: bold;\" src=\"https:\/\/avvc.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/IMG_1337-scaled-e1676312069761.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"2560\" \/><strong style=\"color: #ffffff; font-size: 2rem;\">Dave Progar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Dave served in the US Navy fo four years with two tours of duty in Vietnam. He graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. degree. Dave is happily retired from the Department of Conservation\/ State Parks. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 9631. Dave is also a current member of the board here at the AVVC.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/avvc.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/IMG_1345-scaled-e1676312203241.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"2560\" \/>John Hawk<\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>John is a lifelong resident of the Clarendon area. He proudly served in the US Army for two years. He has been a member of the Joseph Warren Lodge #726 for 32 years and served as their Past Master and was the Former Trustee. He is a 31 year member of the Coudersport Consistory AASR, an Honorary Member of the Supreme Council #33, and is the current Commander of AMVETS post #314.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/avvc.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/IMG_1347-scaled-e1676312476408.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"2560\" \/>Gary Lane<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Gary is a lifelong resident of Clarendon. He has proudly owned the Sheffield Lanes for 35 years. He was the 1st EMT in Warren County, and is the V.P. for the Clarendon Boro.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/avvc.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/image0-rotated.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"924\" height=\"1232\" \/>Kelly Zandi<\/h2>\n<p>Kelly Zandi is a daughter of a Navy veteran, a wife to late husband Dan Zandi (local business owner and philanthropist) and a mother to three successful daughters. She is also a patriot &#8211; and firmly believes that veterans, who have sacrificed so much for our great nation, should be afforded every opportunity to thrive. There is no better use of the former Allegheny Valley Elementary School, in which her children attended prior to it&#8217;s closing, than the newly established Allegheny Valley Veterans Center. As a board member of the AVVC, she looks forward to being an advocate for veterans. Through this role, she will not only be carrying on the legacy of her late husband&#8217;s generosity and community service, but will also be leading by example to future generations, to include her three grandchildren, on how to make a difference in the lives of those that deserve it most. Kelly is a lifelong resident of Warren County, PA, a 1984 graduate of Sheffield Area High school, member of of AMVETS Post 314 and currently resides in Clarendon, PA.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"font-size: 2rem; font-weight: 400;\" src=\"https:\/\/avvc.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Julie.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"919\" height=\"1225\" data-wp-editing=\"1\" \/><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Julie Wilson<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Julie is a 2000 graduate of Sheffield High School. \u00a0She served in the Army for 22 years, retiring in November 2022. \u00a0Julie is currently employed as a Department Service Officer with AMVETS and enjoys assisting Veterans and their dependents. \u00a0She looks forward to assisting the residents of the AVVC in this capacity and is dedicated to ensuring that all Veterans receive the benefits they have earned. \u00a0She is currently the First Vice and a Lifetime Member of AMVETS Post 314. \u00a0She resides in Warren with her husband and three children. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"color: #ffffff; font-size: 2rem; font-weight: bold;\" src=\"https:\/\/avvc.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/paul-website-e1679056912535.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"918\" height=\"927\" \/><strong style=\"color: #ffffff; font-size: 2rem;\">Paul Pascuzzi<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I began my accounting career with OSRAM Sylvania in 1980 and retired as a Corporate Controller and Financial Business Analyst in 2013. Post retirement, I elected to explore self-employment options and established Pascuzzi Accounting &amp; Tax with my wife. I passed the IRS Enrolled Agent (SEE) exam in early 2014 and began to organically grow my tax practice. I served as the Fiscal Director for the County of Warren in 2015-2016.\u00a0Current Community involvement includes Council President for the Borough of Clarendon, a member of Borough Council for 40 years. I am also an active member of 40 years at the Clarendon Fire Department and serve as the organization\u2019s Vice President, Safety Officer and former EMT. I am a member of the Warren County Planning Commission where I serve as Chairman. I serve as a member of the Board of Directors for the Warren Forest HI Ed Council, currently as Treasurer, Warren County EMS Council and the Struthers Library Theater. \u00a0I am an Eagle Scout and enjoy golf, concerts and shows with my wife (Patricia) of 40+ years, home repair, visiting my three children and three grandkids and reading about the Civil War.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/avvc.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Dave-Wortman.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"917\" height=\"1215\" \/>DAVE WORTMAN<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Colonel (R) Dave Wortman served in many command and operations positions throughout his Army career with the 101<sup>st<\/sup> Airborne Division and the Special Forces Regiment. \u00a0He is currently a Senior Executive in the oil and gas industry and serves as the Mayor of Warren, Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:post-content --><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 Thomas R.
